Parmarth Niketan
Parmarth Niketan is the largest ashram in Rishikesh, located on the banks of the holy Ganges River, providing a clean, pure and sacred atmosphere with beautiful gardens. The ashram is open to all, with no discrimination on the basis of race, gender, nationality, religion, caste or creed.
Rishikesh, known as the “City of the Divine,” is a spiritual center where sages, rishis, saints and pilgrims have flocked for millennia. The ashram offers comfort, inspiration, and upliftment for body, mind, and spirit, as well as a deeper connection with the Divine.

Daily activities include yoga, meditation, satsang, universal prayers, and the world-renowned Ganga Aarti at sunset.
The ashram offers several hundred residential rooms that retain the simplicity of ashram living yet are equipped with the necessary modern amenities. Yoga programs are offered from beginner to teacher training courses throughout the year, with qualified teachers who are rich in experience and live yogic principles.
In addition, the ashram hosts special cultural, spiritual, and environmental programs given by revered spiritual leaders, acclaimed musicians, scientists, scholars, and others. The ashram also offers Nature Cure and Ayurvedic Treatment facilities, as well as a charitable clinic/dispensary.
